Throughout the meeting, participants engaged in presentations covering key topics such as electrode materials, catalyst devices, PEC cell configurations, process modeling, and technology implementation. Additional sessions addressed communication strategies and project management. The day culminated in a general assembly and a guided tour of ICIQ's facilities, underscoring the project's achievements in sustainable energy and its ambitious goals for the future.

The PHOTOSINT project is focused on developing a photo-electrochemical cell (PEC) that uses sunlight to convert wastewater and CO₂ into hydrogen and methanol. This breakthrough technology aims to produce valuable fuels with renewable energy, aligning with Europe’s goals for sustainable energy innovation.

The project runs from September 2023 to August 2027 and is coordinated by Idener, bringing together leading research institutions and industrial partners from across Europe --> https://www.photosint.eu/partners
